The music minstry at Church of the Messiah seeks to follow God's command to "Make a joyful noise"! We have opportunities for all ages who are seeking to serve God through music. We believe that music should enhance the worship, seek to open one's heart to hear the Word of God, and enable each worshipper to lift praises to God in worship through a variety of vocal and instumental opportunities. Like the congregation we help lead and serve, our music and people come in many diverse styles and backgrounds. We are united in Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior and celebrate our differences in Him each day!

This group sings at both the 8 AM and 9:30 AM worship services. Membership is open to all vocalists ages 14 through adult. We meet each Wednesday evening in the main sanctuary from 7-8:15 PM. | The Praise band plays at the11 AM contemporary worship service each Sunday . Playing today's praise music such as Lincoln Brewster, Chris Tomlin, Hillsong, and Don Moen, to some of the timeless praise music such as the Maranatha Band and the Gaithers, to new arrangements of traditional hymns, there is truely something for everyone seeking a more contemporary worship style! We are always looking for commited musicians and vocalists to audition for this group.
