The shield you see here on our site and on other signs and publications of Church of the Messiah identifies us as an Episcopal Church.

As such, we are part of The Episcopal Church, USA, a community of 2.4 million members in 108 dioceses in the Americas (and abroad). The Most Rev. Frank T. Grisworld III is the Presiding Bishop.

The Diocese of Central Florida

More locally, we are part of the Diocese of Central Florida, a community of many congregations, many institutions and charter organizations, and many schools in Central Florida. The The Rt. Rev. John W. Howe is our Bishop.

The Anglican Communion

More globally, we are part of The Anglican Communion — a worldwide community of 70 million Anglicans in 38 member provinces. The Most Revd Rowan Williams is the 104th Archbishop of Canterbury. He was enthroned at Canterbury Cathedral on 27th February 2003.If you were raised in the Anglican Church of Canada, the Uniting Churches of India, the Church of England, or other Anglican community, we are your church in the United States.
