About Us - Information

Please contact the Church office with pastoral needs during the week at 407-656-3218. If you have information for Sunday's bulletin, please submit it to the office no later than the preceding Tuesday, and if you would like a Lay Eucharistic Visitor to bring you Communion on Sunday, please call the office.

WELCOME NEWCOMERS!

If you would like to transfer your membership to Church of the Messiah, please call the office, and we will request a letter of transfer from your previous church.

Please call the Church office Monday-Friday 9 am-5 pm and we'll take care of your requests. If you're not a member of another church, we'll explain how to join Church of the Messiah.

Communion

If you hunger and thirst to know God better, please come and let Him nourish you in the Sacrament of Communion. All are welcome: this is not an Episcopal table; this is God’s table.

Child Care

We provide a nursery during all worship services for children up to 4 years of age in the the Sunday School wing. Our ushers will be glad to take you there if you need assistance.

Children's Church

For children ages 5 - 11 during the 9:30 a.m. and 11:00 a.m. service. Children stay with their families for the opening songs and prayers, leave for the scripture readings and sermon time, and then return in time for the Peace. Children's church includes the same Bible readings as "Big Church," music, art, and prayers based on the Bible readings for the day.

Lay Eucharistic Visitors

take communion to those unable to be here due to illness or injury. If you cannot be here on Sunday, please call the office to ask for a visit, or call Father Tom at home at 407-877-7270.

Dress Code

"Florida Informal" appropriate for the weather. Lots of polo shirts and tropical prints, casual pants on men and women (including shorts when it's warm), and skirts. Children wear what they do to school. A few suits, ties, and dresses. Please wear what's most comfortable for you!
