About Us
| In 1950, a small group of West Orange County Episcopalians approached Bishop Henry I. Louttit about establishing a new mission in Winter Garden. The request was approved, and on Sept. 17, 1950, the first service was held in the American Legion Hall, led by the Rev. George L. Granger. Services continued in various locations around Winter Garden over the next several years. |
On August 16, 1954, ground was broken for the first permanent church building at the corner of Tilden and Woodland streets. Construction was completed within a few months, and the first service in the new building was held Nov. 14, 1954. |

A parish hall was added in 1963 and an educational wing in 1975. A major renovation and expansion of the church was completed in 1985, resulting in the present beautiful edifice. |
